School Site Instructional Tech Support   

Cupertino Union School District,  October 2021 - Current 

• Daily provide IT support to a CUSD school site by helping students, teachers, staff and volunteers on ipads, mac computers, apple tv and all apple products used at school site. Also, troubleshoot other hardware and software issues connected with Apple products at school like printers, projector and carts.

• As specialists I provide directions, create presentations and support documents that give step by step instructions for students, teachers and staff to understand and apply.

• Support the marketing department and make sure to send out daily email blasts that require updating banners, text updates, links and landing pages. Work is done by using tools like adobe dreamweaver, photoshop, illustrator, salesforce.

• Daily tasks require processing emails through supervisors, compliances while making sure e-blast are sent out before deadlines.

• Designing and updating newspaper ads, banners and text are also part of daily tasks. Of Course details and deadlines are the most crucial part of the design.

Web/Graphic Designer

AI Academy, Cupertino, CA,  June 2020 - Aug 2021

• I designed and rebranded AI Academy’s website and marketing materials to promote their classes and summer camps www.aiacademyca.com. 

• Used social media to run ad campaigns on multiple media sources like facebook and instagram. Updates were made weekly/monthly (as needed) and ran ads on both platforms to promote classes. Also, used sites like Neighborhood & Cupertino Patch to post and promote class and camp ads.​

 

Web/Graphic Design Admin

Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church, Palo Alto, CA, May 2018 - June 2020

• I designed Bulletins for Sunday services, Easter, Christmas, Baptisms, Marriage and Memorials. Served around 150 people every sunday and even more so online. The design process involved a lot of changes with time crunches and a lot of collaboration with volunteers, staff and musicians.

• Wordpress was the platform used for designing church websites. Website included plug-in Mailchimp forms, CCB Database and Google response forms. 

• UI and UX Designing was a bit challenging since the end users were from groups that were digitally sophisticated to users NOT wanting to use digital technology at all.

• I designed marketing materials and websites. Worked on projects from start to finish with Basant. Designed property flyers and business cards in given budget, time and standard requirements. 

• Worked on projects from start to finish with Basant, real estate company and 3rd party vendors. Front-end design work done according to templates allotted by real estate companies. ​

• Collaborating effectively with all parties and teams was a challenge conquered successfully.

HARKER Summer School, June 2015 - August 2015

• Designed engaging lessons for middle schoolers(25 students per class.)  that covered languages like html, css, javascript and ajax to design rich interactive user experience websites.

• As an Instructor my job involved developing engaging lessons to teach students effectively basic HTML and CSS hand-code to make simple websites.Teaching included integrating Ajax widgets into websites to create a rich interactive user experience as well as all of the tags that go into websites including content-related tags such as those used for images, text formatting, tables, cascading style sheets and Javascript to design. Also, taught design elements like basic color theory, fount usage, layout and logo design in order to make a well rounded website.

• I designed marketing materials, websites and real estate training materials which involved Realtors, IT Personnel, Copy Writers and stakeholders.

Responding to a variety of web and marketing related requests from across the offices. Improvement of the look and feel for the marketing flyers with icons, logos, templates and layouts. Web publishing and website management with HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc.

• Graphic and visual design for web images, forms, logos, flyers, business cards and marketing material using Photoshop, InDesign DreamWeaver, Fireworks and google docs. Design for printed handouts and slide templates for the presentations.

Symmetry Direct, Milpitas, CA

• Symmetry Direct was in the business of Natural Health Supplements. As a new bee I worked under the design team manager. Learned ways of working with Marketing Managers, Graphic Designers, Supply Managers, Clients, Copywriters on a daily basis.

• Tight deadlines and quick turnarounds on buttons, page, banner, shopping cart were a must. Updated, tested and maintained main site as well as micro sites. Delivered all of the wireframes and design specifics for the company website. 

• Send out emails and e-blast after upper management’s approval. Created electronic versions of marketing materials like e-newsletter, marketing ads, user guide, product menu.

Production Artist / Designer

FRY'S Electronics, San Jose, CA

• Created daily newspaper ads, website ads, layouts and illustrations for marketing projects.

• Used conceptual designs and ideas to create and edit images for various products. Organize, align and resize print advertisements based on vendor’s requirement. 

• Designed promotional materials for San Jose, SaberCats (AFL). Which  included  banners, flyers, posters,  and brochures. Worked with different departments and went through a tedious process for final approval.

Small Projects:

• Projects involved User Interface Design for SaaS and Multi platform (Computer, Mobile and Tablet) website designs. As a Web Designer worked on creating innovative websites for product information and marketing.

• Creating from first draft to wire frames then testing and making approved websites live. As well, redesigned and updated website for wholesale market and creating e-commerce website with shopping cart using zencart and big e-commerce was a learning experience. All the projects are started from scratch and gone Live.
